From September 18th to 20th, the International Seminar 2024 on Aerogels was held at TUHH in Germany. The event delved into the latest advancements and achievements in the R&D, production, and application of aerogel materials, proposing actionable strategies for the industry’s development.

At the invitation of Prof. Irina Smirnova, Vice President of TUHH and Chair of the Seminar, Dr. Wang Yunhong, President of IBIH, led a delegation to participate in the conference. The team engaged in in-depth exchanges with leading universities, research institutions, and enterprises in the aerogel field, exploring innovative breakthroughs and potential collaboration opportunities.

During the seminar, Wang Jianheng, Deputy R&D Director of IBIH Hebei, delivered a keynote speech titled "Applications of Aerogels in EV Batteries", detailing the use of aerogels in electric vehicle batteries and showcasing IBIH’s technological innovations and breakthroughs in this domain.

In addition to the presentation, IBIH set up an exhibition booth to display its cutting-edge products, including aerogel battery thermal insulation pads, polyimide aerogels, and aerogel glass, highlighting the company’s scientific and technological achievements in aerogels. Dr. Wang Yunhong and Luo Xiaoning, Deputy General Manager of IBIH Henan, enthusiastically introduced the exhibited products and technologies to global experts, fostering discussions on the future of the industry.

As the only Chinese aerogel enterprise at the seminar, IBIH’s showcased products and technologies received high acclaim from international delegates, demonstrating its innovation capabilities and market leadership in the aerogel sector. This participation further elevated IBIH’s global visibility and influence within the international aerogel community.
