From July 5th to 6th, the Technology Achievement Transformation Matchmaking Conference, co-hosted by the Department of Chemical Engineering of Tsinghua University, Hebei Tsinghua Development Research Institute, and Bohai New District (Huanghua City), and co-organized by Cangzhou Lingang Economic and Technological Development Zone and Cangzhou Tsinghua Alumni Association, was held in Cangzhou Lingang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Hebei Province. The conference aimed to create a demonstration model for deep integration of industry-academia-research-application collaboration.

Xiang Hui, Mayor of Cangzhou Municipal People’s Government, delivered the opening address. Dr. Wang Yunhong, President of IBIH, was invited to attend the event. During the conference, IBIH and Hebei Tsinghua Development Research Institute held a signing ceremony to jointly establish the International Aerogel R&D and Innovation Center.

The center will pool resources from both parties, attract top-tier talents in aerogel materials, and strengthen collaborative efforts in industrial technology breakthroughs, injecting robust momentum into the R&D and innovation of aerogel materials. This initiative is expected to accelerate the development of China’s aerogel industry, enhance its foundational capabilities, and improve quality and efficiency. Simultaneously, it will support Cangzhou Lingang Economic and Technological Development Zone in cultivating new quality productive forces and driving high-quality regional economic development.
