From June 14 to 17, 2026, the 21st European Meeting on Supercritical Fluids (EMSF2026) was held at Clausthal University of Technology, Germany. Dr. Wang Yunhong, CEO of IBIH, was invited to attend, representing China's aerogel enterprise in in-depth exchanges with cutting-edge global research communities.
During her opening plenary lecture titled "Aerogels: a journey from industry to academia and back: current status and future perspectives”, Conference Chair Prof. Irina Smirnova from Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) dedicated a comprehensive segment to IBIH, showcasing the company's R&D capabilities, application cases, and ethanol supercritical drying process as a benchmark of industrial innovation. This endorsement underscored the high recognition IBIH has received on the international academic and industrial stage.
Dr. Wang delivered a keynote tracing IBIH’s ethanol supercritical process from 50ml lab-scale to large-scale mass production and unveiled the concept of continuous ethanol supercritical technology. His presentation sparked active dialogue with European scholars on scale-up engineering, continuous production and future applications.
